ABOUT THE ARTIST
Whitney Mueller, the 2016 recipient of the Utah Shakespeare Festival Gene Chelsey Memorial Design Award, is an accomplished wig maker who builds custom-made, human hair wigs for stage productions. Mueller, the 2016 Interim Hair and Make-up Director (Utah Shakespeare Festival) and Wig Master for the Englestad Shakespeare Theatre has worked as a wig and make-up artist since 2011. In addition to her love of teaching wig-making, her work experience includes the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre and Paramount Theatre.
